This inauguration is conceived as a collective celebration that honors the associations, artists, and residents who bring the community center to life throughout the year. The artistic program will be entirely local with three performers who will take turns to kick off the festivities: the Ultimatum Collective, a hip-hop association from La Rochelle that gives classes in Dompierre; the company Du Vert à soi, with an original creation to rediscover the history of the place; and Caprice Solo, a harpist and singer, for a delicate musical touch.
The highlight of the day will be “Ode to Joy”. The six neighborhood choirs of Dompierre-sur-Mer, rehearsing since February under the direction of Sophie Torrin and Corinne Fiquet, will take the stage to interpret the songs of their neighborhood. The afternoon will continue with a big singing session uniting all the voices.
A buffet featuring local producers and artisans
Throughout the afternoon, a generous buffet will be served, prepared by a group of local partners: the CFA de Lagord, Chhiwates Délices de Malika, Bely Histoires de Cocktails, and Le Comptoir des vignes. The scenography will be entrusted to the local agency In Situ.
