During a mass held at the Pentagon in front of military personnel, Pete Hegseth believed he was quoting a passage from the Bible. In reality, he almost verbatim repeated a monologue from the movie Pulp Fiction, released in 1994.

Reported by several American media outlets, the video was widely circulated on social networks and quickly sparked mockery. The American official was referring to the pilot rescued in Iran, relying on a text he attributed to the book of Ezekiel, according to our colleagues at BFMTV.
