The Matthieu Delormeau case is taking a new turn. This time, influencer Aqababe will be tried on October 14th at the Paris court for breach of professional secrecy, as reported by Le Parisien. In 2024, the one who initiated an investigation to find Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès had posted a photo of Matthieu Delormeau on his X account. In that photo, the former panelist of Touche pas à mon poste was seen at the Paris court with the caption: “EXCLUSIVE AQABABE – He seems to be doing well.”
A stolen photo with heavy consequences
This publication came after Matthieu Delormeau’s arrest for a cocaine transaction in front of his residence in the 6th arrondissement of Paris in July 2024. A “therapeutic injunction for drug use” was ordered against him by the courts. A real descent into hell from which he later recovered.
The Paris prosecutor’s office immediately opened an investigation into the photo publication. The investigation revealed that the photo was stolen and came from a picture taken by a temporary worker at the Paris court. She has been suspended from her duties since the incident.
This Tuesday, Aqababe, whose real name is Aniss Zitouni, was placed in police custody at the judicial police station. He spent part of the day in detention before being informed of his trial date on October 14th.
Aqababe denounces “judicial harassment”
The influencer’s lawyer, Mr. Tom Michel, denounced to Le Parisien a “real case of judicial harassment.” He argues that his client “is being called in and placed in custody repeatedly for trivial matters, when the judicial institution should focus its resources on much more serious cases.”
This is not the first time Aniss Zitouni, who recently targeted Iris Mittenaere, has been summoned to court. In 2025, Aqababe faced several complaints for fraud, breach of trust, and deceptive business practices. In April 2025, he was already held in custody for broadcasting images of a trial for anti-Semitic harassment against Magali Berdah, a reality TV agent.
These cases add to his previous controversies, notably in 2018 when he was involved in a conflict with rapper Maes, whom he accused of kidnapping and beating him.
