The largest European technology fair reaches a historic milestone at the Porte de Versailles. Between artificial intelligence and digital sovereignty, the event is taking on a new dimension to surpass its 180,000 visitors from the previous year.
The VivaTech fair celebrates its tenth anniversary. From June 17 to 20, 2026, the Porte de Versailles hosts the tenth edition of the largest European event dedicated to start-ups and technologies. Over the past decade, the audience has grown by 300%, reaching 180,000 visitors in 2025.
This major expansion includes the investment in Hall 7 on three floors, increasing the exhibition space by 30%. Artificial intelligence and productivity dominate the discussions. According to the salon’s data, “89% of executives trust AI to guide their company’s decisions.”
World premieres, such as the empathic experience with a robot led by start-ups Unitree and the French HABS, illustrate this trend. Cybersecurity and energy are other central themes. “This spotlight confirms the European ambition upheld by VivaTech in terms of sovereignty.”
Riot offers digital risk awareness programs, while Nyobolt develops ultra-fast charging solutions for batteries.
Germany is designated as “Country of the Year” with a delegation of 200 companies. The salon’s panel of speakers gathers major international figures. Yann Le Cun, president of AMI Labs, will share his vision, along with Olympic champion Léon Marchand.
Industry leaders, including Bernard Arnault of LVMH, Christel Heydemann of Orange, and Rodolphe Saadé of CMA-CGM, are also part of the event. The co-founder of Pasqal, Marc Henriet, and Amundi’s leader Valérie Baudson complete the program.
The deeptech opens up opportunities for the next decade. IBM presents a quantum chandelier. The co-organizer of the event, Maurice Lévy, emphasizes that “this 10th edition marks a change in dimension for VivaTech, reflecting a new era for Tech.” The salon’s co-president, Michèle Benbunan, describes the event as the “catalyst of a VivaTech Generation.”
Projects like space tourism with EOS X SPACE and smart lenses from start-up Xpanceo highlight technological leadership. Renault’s François Provost and Netflix’s Elisabeth Stone will also speak at thematic conference sessions.
The fair now brings together 15,000 start-ups and 4,000 investors from around the world. This business hub facilitates strategic deals worth millions of euros. The event solidifies its status as “the unique place where business and innovation intersect.”
For its 10th anniversary, VivaTech ventures onto the Champs-Elysées on Sunday, June 14, 2026. The famous avenue will be completely pedestrianized to transform into an exceptional showcase of innovation open to the public.
This free immersion journey will allow Parisians, tourists, and people from Île-de-France to discover technologies that are transforming our daily lives: connected objects, robots, new mobility solutions, and climate and health solutions.
Start-ups, large companies, and upcoming talents will interact directly with visitors in a new setting, providing a spectacular preview of the professional fair that will begin three days later at the Porte de Versailles.
