Cosmetic Innov Access wants to facilitate access to cosmetic innovation

On a market in full swing, marked by the proliferation of small brands and entrepreneurial projects, access to raw materials often remains a major obstacle to the realization of projects. Many suppliers impose significant minimum quantities – sometimes 25 kilos – whereas some actors only need one or two kilos to develop or test their formulas. On the other hand, consumer solutions exist, but they do not always allow access to essential regulatory documents for professional purposes.

This is precisely where Cosmetic Innov Access positions itself. Its model is based on the reconditioning of raw materials, allowing for the optimization of minimum order quantities (MOQ) while guaranteeing a high level of quality and compliance. Located in Viry-Châtillon, in Essonne, about twenty kilometers south of Paris, on a site with offices, packaging laboratory, and storage space, the structure was designed to meet industry requirements.

Beyond simple distribution, Cosmetic Innov Access plays a role as an interface between suppliers and end users. In 2024, a first partnership was signed with Lessonia, whose ingredients are offered in small quantities. Since 2025, the company has expanded its portfolio with structuring agreements, notably with Seppic – distributing raw materials in small quantities in France – and Green Line Ingredients, for exclusive distribution in French territory, including larger volumes.

This dual approach – classic distribution and specialization in small volumes – allows Cosmetic Innov Access to meet a wide variety of needs. Its clients range from young brands to formulation laboratories, including large structures. Even established actors do not always need large quantities, especially in the R&D or testing phases. “The minimum quantities imposed by manufacturers are sometimes disconnected from the reality of the cosmetics world,” emphasizes Édith Almenara, co-founder and commercial and marketing director.

But the contribution of Cosmetic Innov Access is not limited to a volume issue. The company also promotes a more responsible vision of the industry. “Waste of cosmetic raw materials is a major challenge: overstocks imposed by scale economies constraints often lead to costly and ecologically unjustified destruction,” explains the co-founder. By offering a more tailored offer, Cosmetic Innov Access helps reduce the destruction of expired products while improving the cash flow management of its clients.

However, the company’s development has been accompanied by technical challenges. “Repackaging is not improvised”: it was necessary to identify the right containers, find suitable suppliers, and meet the various constraints faced by its clients in the launch phase.

For 2026, the priority is clear: increase the visibility of the company! The company will notably be present at the in-cosmetics Global exhibition, from April 14 to 16 in Paris, within the Cosmetic Valley pavilion.
