The 13th edition of inwiDAYS organized by inwi brought together a wide range of stakeholders from the digital ecosystem, startups, experts, investors, and companies around the issues of innovation and performance.

Positioned as a space for exchanges, the event aims above all to structure interactions between the different components of the sector. “inwiDAYS has become a platform for meeting and connecting actors in the innovation ecosystem,” explains Mehdi Laachach, emphasizing the gradual evolution of the event beyond its event dimension.

At the heart of the discussions, artificial intelligence emerges as a lever of transformation for companies. The intervention of Professor Rachid Guerraoui provided an academic perspective on the opportunities, as well as the limits and paradoxes associated with this technology.

In this context, inwi highlights an experiential approach. “The goal is to move towards concrete collaborations, notably through Proofs of Concept and co-developed pilots with startups,” explains Mehdi Laachach.

The inwiDAYS Awards have honored several Moroccan startups operating in various fields, ranging from cybersecurity to fintech. Among the awarded projects are ShareID, Ostorlab, and Social Convert, illustrating the dynamism of the ecosystem.

While these initiatives demonstrate a certain level of maturity, scaling remains a central challenge. The support offered by inwi aims precisely to bridge the gap between innovation and operational deployment.

This edition was also marked by a broader involvement of various inwi entities in the selection and support process of startups, through notably the “inwi Innov” program. “The idea is to bring the operator closer to the ecosystem and promote useful collaborations,” indicates Mehdi Laachach, highlighting a logic of co-innovation.

An ecosystem in consolidation

Over the editions, inwiDAYS is part of a progressive structuring dynamic of the Moroccan digital ecosystem. The event reflects a broader trend: the rise of artificial intelligence as a transformation tool, but also the challenges related to its effective integration into economic models.
