Lucie Bernardoni was absent from “Dance with the Stars” on Friday night after being placed under judicial control for “violence” against her daughter.

She denies the accusations and her lawyers emphasize that she remains innocent until proven guilty.

Her future in the TF1 show remains uncertain.

Her absence did not go unnoticed by the viewers of “Dance with the Stars.” Lucie Bernardoni, vocal coach of the Star Academy, did not appear on the dance floor of TF1’s show on Friday, April 3. The rest of the pairs competed to secure their place in the competition, but the duo formed by the singer with Christophe Licata was missing after participating in the previous prime.

As you can see below, presenter Camille Combal was very direct in announcing the candidate’s absence. “After two months of competition, here are the couples that can vie for the final victory,” he said before adding, “Lucie is missing, unable to dance, but the competition continues.” No further details were provided during the rest of the show.

As several media outlets, including Le Parisien and Le Figaro, point out, Lucie Bernardoni’s absence comes as she was placed under judicial control. Earlier in the week, she spent 30 hours in police custody before being released on Wednesday as part of a procedure for “intentional violence by a parent” against her daughter, according to the magazines’ information.

An Adolescent “Delivered to Herself”

In a statement, her lawyers Me Maud Touitou and Me Alain Barsikian indicated that “Lucie Bernardoni denies the accusations against her” and remains “presumed innocent.” They also mention that their client “was heard at her request.” The 39-year-old singer is in legal trouble following a complaint filed on November 29 by her ex-partner, Pedro Alves, for “violence” against their 15-year-old daughter.

Le Parisien Mentions an Absence “In Agreement with TF1”

This entire situation was not mentioned on “Dance with the Stars,” but the journalist from Le Parisien states that Lucie Bernardoni’s absence from Friday’s show is not unrelated to her legal troubles. “According to our information, she decided, in agreement with TF1, not to participate in this Friday’s show and is questioning the continuation of the competition,” he wrote in his article.

“There’s a very strange atmosphere, we’re all in our corner, we’re not being told anything,” a member of the “DALS” cast reacted, as quoted by Le Parisien. “And someone will be eliminated in the middle of all this, it’s going to be a very special prime,” he continued. Lucie Bernardoni did not address the situation on Friday, even though she was very active on her Instagram account, where a series of stories were posted.

If one of them is a message addressed to Marcus, eliminated during the prime, all the others are reposts of support messages from relatives or celebrities. These include a story from her adventure partner Christophe Licata (“I miss you so much tonight, my Lucie”), from her Star Academy colleague Marlène Schaff (“My Lul’, too disappointed not to see you dance tonight! Get back on your feet quickly!”) or from the singer Julie Zenatti (“You’re going to be missed in my TV show”).

One of the messages shared by the singer stands out: that of her ex-partner Patrice Makta, who clearly mentions the accusations she is facing. “I have lived 5 years by your side, I have seen with my own eyes the exceptional mother that you are,” he wrote before concluding, “You are much more than a good mother, you are a pillar, a refuge, an example.” It remains to be seen if this glowing portrait of Lucie Bernardoni will be considered by the justice system or if she will stand behind Pedro Alves’ accusations. The court date in Nanterre is scheduled for September 29.
