A car crash caused a fire near Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Pittsburgh’s Garfield neighborhood. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. when a car hit an electric pole on Schenley Avenue. Witnesses reported that the sparks came from a transformer that caught on fire. Although no injuries were reported, the fire caused power outages affecting hundreds of customers in the area. Duquesne Light crews worked for hours to restore power.
