As the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals approach, fr.uefa.com highlights five players you should consider recruiting for Fantasy Matchday 13, presented by PlayStation.

Viktor Gyökeres (€9.0M) – Arsenal Although several forwards are more widely preferred by Fantasy managers, Gyökeres has strong arguments to consider before Matchday 13. The forward, who has started in each of Arsenal’s last three Champions League matches, scored four goals in two recent international matches with Sweden, including a hat-trick against Ukraine to propel his nation to the FIFA World Cup. Arsenal faces Sporting CP in the quarter-finals, a club for which Gyökeres scored 97 goals in 102 appearances before joining the Gunners last summer.

Vinícius Júnior (€9.6M) – Real Madrid Crucial in Real Madrid’s qualification for the round of 16 against Manchester City, with a brace in the second leg, Vinícius Júnior is a compelling Fantasy option as the 15-time winners prepare to face Bayern in the quarter-finals. The Brazilian, who provided an assist against Croatia on April 1st, has scored four goals in his last two appearances for Real Madrid and has contributed to 15 goals in his last 14 club matches. Vinícius Júnior has played 90 minutes in Real Madrid’s last seven Champions League matches and is particularly effective in the second half, with 13 of his last 15 European goals scored after halftime.

Federico Valverde (€6.8M) – Real Madrid Another viable option from Real Madrid who emerged as an attractive midfield choice for Fantasy managers after his hat-trick in the first leg against Manchester City. Valverde has scored three goals and provided four assists in Real Madrid’s last three Champions League matches at home and also found the net for Uruguay on March 27th, bringing his total to ten offensive contributions in his last ten club and national team appearances.

João Cancelo (€4.9M) – FC Barcelona Present in only 2% of Fantasy squads, Cancelo is a differential defender whose recent performances showcase his potential for points from both ends of the pitch. The full-back helped Portugal keep a clean sheet on two occasions during the international break and has scored or provided an assist in four of his last five national team appearances for FC Barcelona. This includes an assist at home against Atlético Madrid in the Copa del Rey on March 3rd, the same fixture that FC Barcelona faces in Matchday 13.

Désiré Doué (€8.1M) – Paris Saint-Germain Another underowned Fantasy option deserving of your attention, Doué collected 27 points in Paris Saint-Germain’s entire elimination play-off against Monaco. The 20-year-old player scored his first goals for France recently, netting a brace against Colombia, and also scored in his last appearance in Ligue 1. With his teammate Bradley Barcola recently injured, in-form Doué has a good chance of getting significant playing time when the defending champions host Liverpool for Matchday 13.
