Seen in Atlanta at Road Show International, this satin black Mercedes-AMG G 63 seems almost demure, seen from the outside. But on board, its complete red interior completely changes the atmosphere and attracts all eyes.

Seen from a distance, this G-Class could almost blend into the mass of large black SUVs parked in front of a palace. However, behind this very serious appearance hides a Mercedes-AMG G 63
préparé par Road Show International who plays the double game: three-piece suit outside, private party inside.

The base is a recent G 63, directly derived from the modern G-Class launched in 2018 and still manufactured in Graz, Austria. Already cult for its cube-on-wheels look and its status as an object of desire, this G-Wagen pushes the concept further: the exterior remains almost sober, the passenger compartment turns bright red living room. An assumed way of driving discreetly… until someone opens the door.

A Mercedes-AMG G 63 discreet on the outside but already monstrous

The body adopts a satin black paintenhanced by glossy black inserts and darkened logos that reinforce the menacing air. Bull bar at the front, huge spare wheel at the rear, nano-ceramic treated windows : everything is designed for the look of a high-end armored vehicle. THE 24 inch Forgiato rimswith a chrome disc design, completely fill the wheel arches, with very fine road tires which give this behemoth a more jewel than adventurer side.

Behind this façade, we remain on the official AMG mechanics: V8 4.0 liter biturbo of 577 hp850 Nm of torque, 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 s and maximum speed limited to 250 km/h. Scale chassis, all-wheel drive, everything that makes the G 63 famous is intact. On this copy, the
preparation remains entirely visual : no announced power gain or crazy exhaust, the standard engine is already more than sufficient to catapult this luxury cube.

Inside, a bright red interior that transforms this G-Class

Once the door is opened, there is a complete change of atmosphere.
The interior goes full red : seats, upper and lower part of the dashboard, central armrest, door panels, everything is covered in bright leather. The headliner remains black, like some carbon inserts
and the metallic touches, which brings out this omnipresence of red even more. On the steering wheel, a repère rouge à 12
h
recalls the sporting origins of the model.

Faced with a standard G 63, which already offers beautiful nappa leathers and more classic style combinations, this
red interior completely out of the usual configurator. We are closer to a salon VIP than a 4×4 born on military tracks. In traffic, the car remains sober, but anyone who gets on board finds themselves immersed in a warm bubble, perfect for Instagram, which makes you want to take out the phone before even buckling your seat belt.

A toy costing more than €170,000 that’s a hit on Instagram

In the United States, a 2026 Mercedes-AMG G 63 starts at $195,500, or approximately €170,000. The G 550 is around $153,900 (around €134,000) and the electric version G 580 around $163,200 (around €142,000). This
satin black with red interior still adds the price of a custom upholstery24-inch Forgiato rims and nano-ceramic treatments: we are clearly entering the territory of “price on request“, reserved for a clientele who does not detail each option.

On Instagram, this G-Wagen signé Road Show
International
ticks all the codes that make the likes explode: very dark exterior, huge rims, interior with very strong colors. Enthusiasts will recognize the signs of a real G 63 prepared, such as the specific grille and the side exhaust outlets. In the same universe, some
Brabus 800 push the formula up to 800 hp and 3.1 s on 0 to 100 km/h, but this combo, black on the outside, red on the inside, clearly focuses on the visual shock more than on the overbidding of figures.
