For Aline Somrani, being a beautician is not just a job. It has been a passion for thirty years, which she has the pleasure of sharing, today, with her 23-year-old twins, Jade and Inès. His journey is classic but the encounters will be decisive. At the age of 16, she joined a beauty school in Paris, and successively obtained a CAP aesthetics-cosmetics, then a professional certificate, alternating for two years at Euro Santé Beauté, specializing in perfumery and beauty products. During this training, she was in contact with major cosmetics brands such as Payot, Pier Augé, Ericson and Hormeta, who confirmed her choice for technical treatments for the face and body. Twelve years ago, after several years of practice in the Paris region, she settled down in Nîmes in the La Croix-de-Fer district, and opened an institute at her home.
Fascia massage
A trainer for a German laboratory, Janssen Cosmetics, she is required to travel, and thus to free herself within the institute. So, she created a fascia massage technique, the Mani-Lift, with an anti-aging goal, which shee dépose la marque à l’INPI. “This is what I’m asked for the most, anti-aging, but also detox and overall relaxation. This specific massage lasts 45 minutes and includes two levels depending on blood, bilious, lymphatic or nervous temperaments”, explains the beautician.
Apply for The Aesthetic Newsthe professional magazine dedicates two double pages to him on this technique in its 797th issue, published in December 2025, and asks him to intervene with a demonstration on stage, during the prestigious International Aesthetics and Spa Congress which took place from April 11 to 13 in Paris Expo-Porte de Versailles. For the young woman, it is unexpected in terms of visibility and therefore contacts, particularly for her activity as an international trainer, because this event attracts no less than 22,000 visitors and 250 exhibitors, but also stressful. “I had to reduce my time to 30 minutes because all the demonstrations follow one after the other, modifying my way of working a little and adapting to the cameras placed on either side, and above the stage, as well as to the soundtrack. It was a real show”, specifies Aline, her eyes shining, clearly still in the spotlight.
