More than just a sports academy, it is a bet on youth and the future that the Béziers Indoor Padel is preparing to launch. Through an unprecedented sports-studies project in Occitanie, the Béziers club hopes to become a magnet for the best national hopes in the sport in the coming months.
Signing of a partnership
A desire to establish Béziers on the map of French excellence has taken a new step with the signing of a partnership with the “Le Panse Academy,” a reference structure founded by Loïc Le Panse and dedicated to young French talents.
Under the leadership of this prominent figure in the sport, the center located in Mazeran aims to establish itself as a hub of attraction for the best hopes in France. With this goal in mind, a sports-studies project is already being discussed with the Jean-Moulin high school, to provide future French champions with an ideal environment to prepare for their future, both academically and athletically.
An ambitious project
Looking towards the future with optimism and ambition is Guillaume Lautier, founder and manager of the structure. “This project is excellent news for padel in Béziers and the region. Loïc has been in the region for three years. After already creating a first academy in Narbonne a few months ago, he came to us to propose a partnership. Today, everything is in place to welcome young players in the best conditions. That is why the sports-studies project at Jean-Moulin could be very interesting, as the presence of a boarding school could allow us to welcome young players from all over France,” explained Guillaume Lautier, whose ambitions are high around this future collaboration. “The idea is to welcome young players from the 10th grade to the 12th grade, who have a national level, or even international for some of them. For a club like ours, it is a great opportunity to have a structure of this size to attract young players to the city. This project is expected to generate a lot of buzz in the region and beyond.”
