RÉCIT – At the Eurosatory defense exhibition, which opens its doors this Monday near Paris, French manufacturers are presenting their latest innovations.
If you want peace, prepare for war (“If you want peace, prepare for war”). Never has Eurosatory, the world’s largest land and air-land defense exhibition, illustrated this adage as well as for the 2026 edition (June 15 to 19 in Paris-Nord Villepinte). « Eurosatory is part of the growing rise in dangers. You have to prepare: this is undoubtedly the last show, before the outbreak of a future conflict“, estimates Charles Baudouin, its commissioner general. Several chiefs of staff in Europe have warned of the risk of a Russian attack against a NATO country before 2030, while there is a risk of the United States abandoning the Atlantic Alliance.
Reflecting the general rearmament, the record number of exhibitors: 2,500 industrialists, or 450 more than during the 2024 edition.
