Flavie Flament reacts. After filing a rape complaint against Patrick Bruel, the host spoke on RTL this Friday. “I never had consensual sexual relations with Patrick Bruel,” declared Flavie Flament, before pointing the finger at the singer’s defense.
“We never change versions”
The host accuses Patrick Bruel of having raped her in 1991, when she was 16 years old. She filed a complaint. The alleged facts are contested by the artist. This Friday, Flavie Flament denounces the different versions put forward by the singer’s defense: “The arguments vary: first an episodic relationship, then a relationship over several years, then vacations together for years…”
Before continuing: “When you have the truth, you never change your version […]. So many things are said. I wanted to let it happen… We don’t talk in the noise. No one would have heard me in this chaos.”
“Using judicial levers”
Flavie Flament, 51, also pointed out the qualifications of the defense of Patrick Bruel, 67. “Can you imagine what it’s like for a minor victim to be told that she consented to the tragedy she suffered? These allegations are appalling […]. We are currently studying the possibility of pulling legal levers with my lawyers. What happens is also what happens when a victim speaks: we try to silence them and discredit them. HAS”
