The Israeli army struck a bridge used by the pro-Iranian Hezbollah movement, raising concerns of a possible ground invasion, according to Lebanese President Joseph Aoun. The attack targeted the Qasmiyeh bridge on the main coastal road connecting the region of Tyre to the rest of the country.

The Israeli army announced the killing of a high-ranking Hezbollah commander during the clashes.
