Eventful Charity
Back in March, the singer’s Service95 platform organized a charity event in London to raise funds for Ukraine, to purchase vehicles for Ukrainian doctors.
Due to her Kosovar origins and her family’s experiences during the Balkan War, Dua Lipa does not hide her particular sensitivity to humanitarian causes. With her family, the singer was already involved in creating the Sunny Hill Foundation in Pristina, Kosovo, as reported by L’Indépendant. This charitable foundation helps the most vulnerable populations by reducing poverty, strengthening democratic values, and supporting education, culture, and the arts.
Among the stars supporting Ukraine are also Angelina Jolie and Sean Penn, who have already visited the country several times since the start of the Russian invasion in February 2022.
