Malause. Football: USM II in the final phase

The senior men’s team of Union Sportive Malausaine traveled to Albias, where they handed a heavy defeat to their hosts (goals by Jocelyn (3), Mohamed (2), Tarik (2), Sébastien, Thibault, Thomas, and Oumar). With a ten-point lead over their pursuers, Confluences and Vazerac, in district D3 pool A, this team is guaranteed a spot in the finals, which will bring together the top two teams from each of the three pools.

Hope remains for the female seniors, despite another loss to Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave, with a score of 4-1 (goal by Alexia) in the first of three semi-final matches in the women’s Honneur departmental championship VIII. All is not lost, but on Sunday, May 17 at 3 p.m. in Lavit, they will face FC Lomagne 82, the undefeated leader of their pool. Victory is necessary to reach the final.

This weekend, on Saturday, May 16 at 8 p.m., the first team will host Montbartier at the Malausain stadium. On Sunday at 3 p.m., the reserve team will play their last match against Castelsarrasin/Gandalou at the Moureu stadium.
