The school, sensitive to the values promoted by the “Foot l’école” program, wanted to engage its students from CP to CM2 in a sequence combining sports, culture, and moral values. This involved six sessions held outdoors, on the school field, thanks to a mild weather, where students benefited from multiple workshops led by members of the local football club, USLB, as well as members of the Aveyron District.

The children worked on handling the ball, but in an era where inclusion is emphasized, they also practiced this sport in situations involving motor or visual difficulties. The sequence concluded with a workshop called “Fitfoot” with music.

In addition to the sports activities, the children also worked on an artistic project around the five values of the “Prets” program (pleasure, respect, commitment, tolerance, solidarity). During the final session, Anaëlle Laffineur, project manager of “Foot à l’école” at the national technical direction of the French Football Federation, was present to observe the actions carried out by the Aveyron District.

The children were delighted with the small gift offered as a reward for their involvement in this project, and especially appreciated the convivial moment of the snack offered by the school’s APE. The teachers also praised the quality of this intervention, both for its rich educational content and the values it conveys. They would like to thank the participants Xavier, Mathéo, and Clarisse from USLB, as well as Candy from the District.
