Important Game for AS Trouville-Deauville-Villers
In national division 3, there are now only three small days left. The two teams from Pays d’Auge (AS Trouville-Deauville-Villers and SU Dives-Cabourg), respectively 12th and 13th out of 14, are in relegation positions in a championship where the bottom three will have to rethink their strategies in R1.
Versailles against ASTDV
On Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. on the grass of the Commandant Hébert stadium in Deauville, AS Trouville-Deauville-Villers will host Versailles. Facing a team that has nothing left to hope or fear in this championship, Cedric Hoarau’s players will be ambitious. With two home games out of the last three days, Alban Bekombo’s partners have, in theory, a slightly more favorable schedule, although the Deauville players struggle to earn points on their turf.
Versailles, the opponent, has 35 points with ten victories, five draws, and eight defeats. With 34 goals scored and 28 goals conceded, Versailles is in its place in the championship with an average defense and an attack that is not the most efficient. In terms of current form, Versailles has two wins in the last three games—enough to rest easy at the end of the season.
Dives heads to Caen
Also struggling in this championship, SU Dives-Cabourg will have only one home game to negotiate out of the last three days. Now, the Divais have three direct confrontations ahead of them—enough to naturally foster serious hopes despite their 13th place in the standings.
On Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., the Divais will face the SM Caen’s reserve team on their turf. The Caennais have taken a step towards maintaining their position by holding AS Trouville-Deauville-Villers last weekend. Now, a defeat against Dives combined with a series of victories against struggling teams can still change the fate of the SM Caen reserve team’s season.
The Divais know they will have to do better than at least two of their direct opponents in the last three days—and it all starts with Malherbe, against a team that is not doing much better in this championship.
