The football section of the Chalindrey Sporting Railwaymen organized a free training camp for young people. Twenty-seven boys and girls aged 8 to 15 were supervised by eight adult coaches and took part in activities from April 20th to 22nd. Six unlicensed participants took advantage of the camp to discover football practice at the club.
Coaches provided technical exercises and numerous matches. Penalty kicks, slaloms, and dribbling were on the agenda. On Monday, the youth also visited the nearby fire station. The visit was supposed to last two hours, but it was cut short after thirty minutes due to an emergency.
Osteopath Ambre Jacob from Saints-Geosmes instructed on good sports gestures on Wednesday. She emphasized the importance of stretching. The police raised awareness among the group about the dangers of harassment and social networks. Most of the participants were already club members.
Stéphane Pascaud coordinated the organization of these three days of sports. He appreciated that the footballers took advantage of the sunny days to spend time outdoors. He noticed the motivation of the youth, their enjoyment of playing, and the good atmosphere during the camp.
