Luis Enrique and Arne Slot have revealed their lineup choices ahead of the Champions League quarter-final second leg between Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain, this Tuesday evening at Anfield.
“We don’t change a winning team.” After the 2-0 victory in the first leg, Luis Enrique is sticking with the exact same starting 11 for the match at Liverpool on Tuesday. Bradley Barcola, back in the squad after over three weeks, will be on the bench. Fabián Ruiz remains unavailable, while Nuno Mendes and “Kvara” will be suspended with another warning.
On Liverpool’s side, Arne Slot has shifted from a back five to four. Joe Gomez is replaced by the returning Alexander Isak. The Swedish striker, who returned to action last week in Paris after a fracture of the fibula in December, will be in the lineup. Mo Salah will start on the bench again, despite scoring in the 2-0 win over Fulham on Saturday. Giorgi Mamardashvili will be in goal, with Alisson Becker still out with an injury. Slot also includes his two French internationals, former PSG forward Hugo Ekitike and Ibou Konaté.
Liverpool’s lineup: Mamardashvili – Frimpong, Konate, Van Dijk (c), Kerkez – Gravenberch, Mac Allister – Szoboszlai, Wirtz, Ekitike – Isak. PSG’s lineup: Safonov – Hakimi, Marquinhos (c), Pacho, Mendes – Zaïre-Emery, Vitinha, Neves – Dou, Dembélé, Kvaratskhelia
