Mask Singer is back for a ninth season. After season 8 concluded with Ycare’s victory, the craziest investigation in France returned to action on April 24 with a promising edition full of surprises. This year, 23 costumes are on the program, including 13 main onesand a major new feature: a celebrity will appear not masked, but dressed as a clown, with makeup that will change every week. Throughout the adventure, viewers will discover new characters like the Venetian, the Cyborg, the Bouquet, the Panther, the Hedgehog DJ, the donkey, the Werewolf, the Mummy, the Stone or even the Russian Dolls, called to multiply over time bonuses. “There is always creativity and surprises; we come to have fun and investigate”, confided Kev Adams to West France.
For the launch, Camille Combal revealed the first five costumes of the season : the Owl, the Avocado, the Russian dolls, the Chick and the Cyborg. A first three-way duel pitted the Owl, the Lawyer and the Russian Dolls against each other, at the end of which the Lawyer was sent to waste. A second face-to-face saw the Chick prevail over the Cyborg, leaving the latter to face the Lawyer for the final battle of the evening. Verdict: the Lawyer had to remove his mask in the den, revealing the face of the actress Firmine Richard. But then, who was unmasked this Friday, May 22?

This Friday, May 22 in the evening, a duel at the top awaited Russian Dolls, the Owl and the Chick. After giving everything on stage, it was unfortunately the Russian Dolls who put themselves in danger. To qualify, they had to face the character of the Venetian, who terrorizes Mask Singer’s investigators. During the battle, the Russian Dolls facing the Venetian gave their all on the song Another worldfrom the Telephone group.
