Actor Christian Bujeau died at the age of 81, his agency announced this Monday, June 15. For the general public, he will notably remain the dentist in Les Visiteurs, an emblematic role which made him famous in 1993 in the film by Jean-Marie Poiré, alongside Valérie Lemercier. He played Jean-Pierre Goulard, husband of Béatrice, an unwilling witness to the adventures of Jacquouille and Godefroy de Montmirail. He took up this role in the second part released in 1998.

Trained at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art, Christian Bujeau began his career on stage in the 1970s before gradually establishing himself in cinema and television.
