Friday June 19 at 8:30 p.m., the Clap Actions association offers its favorite film: “Aurore”, A film by Blandine Lenoir, with Agnès Jaoui, Thibault de Montalemebert, Pascale Arbillot.

Aurore is separated, she has just lost her job and learns that she is going to be a grandmother. Society gently pushes her towards the exit, but when Aurore finds by chance her childhood sweetheart, she enters into resistance, refusing the breakage to which she seems to be destined. What if it was now that a new life could begin?

Agnès Jaoui does not mince her words: “When you are a woman over 35, you become invisible! What I call a majority minority”.

In “Aurore” by Blandine Lenoir, she plays a sunny fifty-year-old, unemployed and soon to be a grandmother who takes back control of her life with galvanizing energy.

“It’s because I was more anxious about the idea of growing old than my male friends that I wrote this film,” explains Blandine Lenoir. “I realized that the lack of representation of fifty-somethings in cinema was one of the reasons for my uneasiness” (Source 20minutes.fr).

The film will be followed by a debate.

On your Clap Actions calendars: Sunday June 21, Breakfast at the cinema with two films, Grosse cère (from 3 years old), and Le secret du loup (from 8 years old).
