What’s more rewarding for a parent than seeing their children succeed? It’s not Laeticia Hallyday who will say the opposite according to her last two publications on Instagram. Indeed, Johnny’s widow posted two videos to celebrate his youngest daughter Joy, who graduated from the French high school in Los Angeles. In these images, we can see the young woman climbing onto the stage to collect her diploma.

“Today, it’s not just your diploma that I celebrate my Joyou. I celebrate the young woman that you have become. I celebrate each of the battles that no one saw, each of your efforts, each of your tears transformed into courage”, she began by writing.

Then Laeticia Hallyday added, still as moved: “I celebrate your immense sensitivity, your heart so beautiful and so big, your resilience and this light which has never ceased to shine in you, even in the most difficult moments. Looking at you today, I felt immense pride, but also this pang in my heart not being able to share this moment with your dad”.

A sad confession that the mother of two girls completed: “I know, however, that he was there, somewhere, watching over you with this infinite love that never leaves us. Today you receive a diploma, but I see above all a young woman who has learned to get up againto believe in herself and to move forward despite everything. And that’s worth all the diplomas in the world. I love you more than words can ever say.”.

A chapter closing for Joy but other adventures opening up

Under her second video, on which we can see Laeticia, dressed in a pretty pistachio green dress, posing alongside Joy but also Jade, very proud of her little sister, we can read: “My Joy, this year hasn’t always been easy. Life has tested us at times, but you never stopped moving forward. You found in yourself a strength, a light and a courage that amaze me more every day”. “This diploma is much more than a chapter that ends. It is proof that, even when the path seems difficult, the heart always ends up finding its way again.”added the happy mother.

Laeticia Hallyday then returned to the pride that Johnny would have felt to see his daughter graduate, before writing: “More than grades, more than successes, I am proud of the person you have become, sensitive, strong, generous, free and deeply luminous“.
