Here are the loved ones banned from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding

If most of the information related to the marriage of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, until the date itself, is kept deliberately opaque, we have at least one certainty about the handful of outcasts banned from the “wedding of the century”.

As they approach at the speed of a TGV, few details have really filtered out about the grandiose celebrations which will see the most famous woman in the world and her close wingman say “yes” to each other for life. The rumors, for their part, are rife. And the bride-to-be doesn’t really do anything to appease them. By trying by all means to preserve the confidentiality of the biggest day of her existence, Taylor Swift only fuels the devouring curiosity and burning speculation of tabloids and fans.

Lots of secrets

See instead: the superstar is said to have kept even his own mother and in-laws out of the organization to ensure that no details leaked. In mid-May, a source confided in particular to Daily Mail that the groom’s father, Ed Kelce, had been pushed aside because he was deemed untrustworthy.

The only people admitted to the organization would therefore be Taylor Swift herself, her future husband and the company responsible for the organization, as Travis’ sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, confirmed in her podcast “Not Gonna Lie”: “I have no details. I have no details. Absolutely none.”

In the tabloids, the wedding day remains subject to discussion: long announced as July 3, 2026, Page Six said last week that “this no longer appears to be the case.”

Likewise, the location of the event remains an absolute mystery. With an unlimited budget and a guest list probably as long as your arm, it seems obvious that a small communal hall will not be enough. We therefore expect, among those close to the file, a vast “museum” or “stadium” type space. Just that.

The details would be so well kept that most of the guests themselves would still be unaware of the exact day and location. Taylor Swift’s paranoia would go so far that the singer would have preferred to send false invitations to the guests to sow doubt and divert attention from her real projects, before contacting them herself by telephone.

This technique, however, did not make it possible to avoid indiscretions in the celebrity press. So much so that as a perfect control freak, Taylor would have come up with a plan to unmask the culprits: “She also gives slightly different details to each guest. So, if information were to be publicly disclosed, it could help identify the origin of the leak.”

We hardly dare imagine the scale of the task, especially since the list of guests promises to be far from intimate. “I heard that all people, even those who have little or no connection with the couple, are invited,” noted an insider in mid-May with the Mail.

The person herself said last year that she really didn’t want to get upset about this. “I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have few guests and people are still hesitant. And where you have to evaluate your relationship with them to see if they should be there – I’m not going to do that,†she told British radio and TV presenters Greg James and Graham Norton – before asking them to join.

If the mystery persists, some of the singer’s entourage are sure to come to the wedding of the century: Selena Gomez and the model Gigi Hadid (who are expected to be, at the very least, bridesmaids), Ed Sheeran (a long-time friend of Taylor), the sisters of the group Haim (often seen in his company), or even Andy Reid (the groom’s coach and the Kansas City Chiefs).

The excluded

But let’s now come to those who are angry. The banished. The rejected. The excluded. This Monday, TMZ and Page Six both confirmed that a couple once very close to the future bride and groom, Hollywood actor Miles Teller and his wife, model Keleigh Sperry, could already give up on the dream of an invitation.

If no reason has been put forward to explain this snub, it has been rumored for months that the quartet’s relations have cooled. The actor himself did not want to come forward too much during an interview last year, saying that he did not really know if he would receive an invitation.

Less surprising, but just as sad: in May, Page Six also confirmed that Taylor Swift’s former best friend forever, actress Blake Lively, had been removed from the list. Nothing very surprising, since the blondes have not been seen together since the start of the bitter and interminable legal conflict which opposed the actress to her co-star, Justin Baldoni, over the film It Ends With Us.

It is also rumored that another former very good friend of Taylor Swift, top model Karlie Kloss, would not be among the guests either. The model and singer are said to have drifted apart, after she got closer to Taylor Swift’s sworn enemy, music mogul Scooter Braun.

That said, not all sources agree: on June 2, TMZ echoed an insider who claimed that Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss would have buried the hatchet and that the model will indeed be present.

Finally, if his fiancée, Zoe Kravitz, should be there, we suspect that Harry Styles will find a good excuse not to attend the wedding. Not only is it never very comfortable to attend the wedding of an ex (he and Taylor Swift dated for a few months between 2012 and 2013, to the point that it was the subject of a song), but above all, the singer will be in the middle of a world tour and probably too busy to pop the champagne.

In any case, as a friend slipped into the Daily Mail: “Taylor carefully reviewed her wedding guest list because the people she wants at her wedding are the people she hopes will stay in her life forever.”

For the others, well… here they are warned.
