Juliette Binoche et Benoît Magimel (ten years his junior) meet for the first time. While they lend their features to the legendary couple formed by George Sand and Alfred de Musset, the complicity between the two actors quickly goes beyond the framework of the script.

And although this beautiful love story only lasted a few years, officially ending in 2003, it left a lasting mark on the lives of the two actors. Despite this
rupture (and the descent into hell that the actor experienced), Juliette and Benoît remained close and, in 2023, the exes even gave each other a reply in the film The Passion of Dodin Bouffantfrom Trần Anh Hùng.
