Fans of dragons, family betrayals and platinum hairstyles can rejoice. HBO has finally revealed the trailer for season 3 of House of the Dragon. The trailer multiplies shots of dragons in flight, fleets in flames and battlefields.
Prequel to Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon takes place approximately 200 years before the adventures of Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen. The series tells the story of the civil war between two rival camps of the Targaryen dynasty in their fight for the Iron Throne.
According to showrunner Ryan Condal, season 3 will begin with a confrontation involving dragons and ships. He also described this battle as “one of the craziest episodes ever made for television.”
Season 3 will premiere June 21 on HBO and HBO Max. A fourth and final season has already been confirmed to conclude the story. (max)
