I now expect Justice to hear our Word”explained the former host of Télématin on his Instagram account. According to information from Médiapart, Flavie Flament accuses the singer of having raped her in 1991 in her Parisian apartment at the time, when she was 16 years old. After receiving “un thé” on the part of Patrick Bruel, she would have had a “black-out” before waking up “hallucinée” while the artist was putting his pants back on his bed. Since then, testimonies against Patrick Bruel have been pouring in.

Among them, that of Anne, who affirms in the columns of Paris Match having experienced a non-consensual sexual relationship with the singer when she was 16 and he was 36, in the mid-1990s. It reminds him of a flirtation. “He came to pick me up at my house (…) we went to his apartment and then it’s a big blur. I only have flashes, including an image of him penetrating me.” Then, the singer allegedly called a taxi and the teenager returned home, terrified. Later, in 2010, having become a singer and actress, she says she went to the artist’s home to show him her models. According to her, the singer would have imposed fellatio on her and would have kissed her by force. “I felt like vomiting (…) I left very quickly.” Anne filed a complaint in 2019, but it was dismissed in 2020 by the Nanterre public prosecutor’s office. Anne’s lawyer announced that she had refiled a complaint for attempted rape on May 13.

According to the artist’s lawyers, Me Céline Lasek and Me Christophe Ingrain, Anne tried to monetize her silence: “These facts, denied by Patrick Bruel, were the subject of a judicial investigation. They were closed without further action. The financial request made by this person, who requested 1 million euros or real estate, was made orally and in writing via relatives. can we read, still in the columns of Paris Match. The latter does not deny having considered a financial outcome: “Yes, I considered, at one point, an amicable arrangement. And I am not ashamed of it. I was in full confinement, isolated, disoriented. (…) Before embarking on such a long and painful fight, I wanted to measure what I was exposing myself to. It is human. The fact of considering an amicable outcome does not does not react on the reality of the facts. These two things are absolutely independent.” Since the start of the affair, at least ten complaints have been filed, re-filed or re-examined by the courts in France and Belgium.
