On Friday May 29 and Saturday May 30, 2026, the Château de Castries will host the fourth edition of Château#, a cultural event now well established in the local landscape.
Château#Vertiges returns to Castries
This year, the event is under the theme “Vertiges”, with a program combining music, circus, clown and artistic performances in the exceptional setting of the Gilbert Pastor courtyard.
Designed as a festival open to all, Le Château#Vertiges promises two eclectic evenings where disciplines intersect and reinvent themselves.
The city of Castries is once again banking on an accessible and friendly culture, capable of bringing together all generations around original artistic experiences.
The Friday May 29 At 8:30 p.m., the Orchester National de Montpellier Occitanie will open the festivities with a program devoted to the great masterpieces of romanticism.
Wagner, Dvorak and Brahms will resound within the castle for an evening dedicated to musical emotion.
The Saturday May 30room for a more offbeat and festive atmosphere. From 7:30 p.m., the public will discover the circus show “Les Madeleines de Poulpe”, mixing musical acrobatics and absurd humor.
The evening will continue with a grand raï ball at 9 p.m., punctuated by clownish interludes proposed by the “hihihif” collective.
With this new edition, Le Château#Vertiges confirms the cultural ambition of the town: to offer demanding shows while remaining popular and accessible.
An artistic event which promises, once again, to thrill the heart of the Château de Castries.
