Traditionally in May, the end of year concert takes place for the students of the Musical Center of the Association Familles Rurales.
It is always with a very understandable apprehension that musicians, more or less seasoned, face this moment. This year a dozen people took piano lessons, taught by Laétitia Carlone, or guitar lessons with Arnaud Bouloc. But there were few of them last Wednesday who dared to come and perform in public on the 777 stage.
Thus, a single pianist performed for a remarkable performance with an interpretation of “Times music” from the film Inception by Hans Zimmer and “Arcade” by Duncan Laurence. Laétitia underlined the seriousness and rigor which, added to the talent, characterize the young musician. As for the guitarists, we were pleased to find the young Isaak in “Twist and Shout” (la Bamba) and Titouan, singer and guitarist in a beautiful cover of “Sara perche ti amo” and in a group with Noé, Franck and Arnaud to accompany the beautiful tone of Louise’s voice.
Families and musicians then shared an end-of-year snack prepared for them by Françoise and Magalie, those in charge of the Music Center.
Instrument lessons take place on Mondays or Wednesdays in the AFR room, under the crèche.
