Ambre: an album under construction within a precise schedule
In parallel with the tour,
Amber (Star Academy) is gradually moving forward on his first musical project, even if
the organization remains particularly complex.
The young artist describes a very fragmented rhythm between stage and studio to Charts: “With the exit from the castle, the tour rehearsals and the tour, basically I only have the beginning of the week to go to the studio. It’s a balance to find. But yes, it’s starting to take shape. There are a lot of discoveries because it’s the very first time I’ve done this with the aim of releasing an album. It’s a bit of a laboratory.”
An artistic freedom assumed despite a saturated agenda
In terms of collaborations and artistic direction, the singer prefers to remain cautious, without revealing anything for the moment: “There are quite a few names that have circulated on social networks. I can’t say right now. Actually, I meet a lot of different people. I think it’s also important to meet people, to see who you get along well with, who you are effective with. There has to be the feeling of the music.“On the identity of her project, she voluntarily maintains the mystery while drawing its contours:”I prefer to leave the surprise… But it will be something that resembles me, that will be authentic. I want it to make sense with what people knew about me at the castle, because that’s why I’m here today.”
Concerning the release of her album, she fully accepts that she does not want to skip ahead for the Public Good: “I don’t want to compare myself to what has already been done before. Frankly, I admire them in their journey because they have done extraordinary things. But I think everyone has their own journey, we haven’t all followed the same path. Me,
I want to take the time, without saying that it will come out in two or three years obviously. For me, it’s very important that it looks like me. I don’t want to regret having gone too quickly in a year’s time“.
