The Bridgertons Chronicles arrive in The Sims 4

With four seasons already broadcast, The Bridgerton Chronicles has enjoyed dazzling worldwide success on Netflix. Now, the phenomenon leaves the world of streaming for a special collaboration: the Regency era arrives in The Sims 4.

For years, The Bridgerton Chronicles is one of Netflix’s most popular series. Between sumptuous costumes, glamorous balls and moving love stories, this series centered on London’s high society in the Victorian era has attracted millions of spectators with each new season.

Now, Netflix is ​​expanding the universe of its production in a rather… unexpected way. Elements of the historical drama will soon appear in the world of video games: the streaming phenomenon is in fact launching a special collaboration with The Sims 4. As Electronic Arts explains, the company is launching, in collaboration with Netflix and Shondaland – the production company behind Bridgerton – a very first crossover between the series and the cult game.

From May 12, players will be able to unlock lots of new content from the Netflix hit as part of a temporary event. And good news: everything will be free, both on PC and console. Until July 7, more than 22 items and looks inspired by the series will be available. According to EA’s official description, these contents will be added to the catalog simply by logging in daily in The Sims 4.

The collaboration is mainly inspired by the fourth season, which aired recently. In addition to several construction elements, Sophie Baek’s famous “Lady in Silver” costume – mask included – will make its entry into the game.

Two exclusive packs available

In addition to free content, EA is also launching two new paid expansions. On one side, the “Lady Bridgerton Masked Ballroom Pack” and, on the other, the “Lady Bridgerton Masked Ballroom Fashion Pack”. These will be available separately for around 6 francs, or as a bundle for around 9 francs.

The Fashion Pack will allow players to dress their Sims in “elegant frock coats, stunning dresses and accessories worthy of the hottest event of the season.” The construction pack focuses on creating “a perfect atmosphere for the social event of the season”.

Those who opt for the bundle will also receive three additional exclusive bonuses. Among them: a pavilion from the Bridgerton estate, a piano as well as a baby bed which, according to the official description, must remind Penelope and Colin. On your consoles! (Michelle Nuhn / watson.de trad. mbr)
