The end of the 2025-2026 season is approaching at the conservatoire of Châteauroux Métropole. As every year, it offers various concerts, accessible to all ears and all budgets. From Saturday, May 16th to Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026, there are four dates to note on your calendars.

“The ink and the piano.” In the context of the 150th anniversary of the death of George Sand, the symphonic orchestra of Châteauroux Métropole, under the musical direction of Patrice Pinero, offers a concert on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the equinox, where the prelude and excerpts from Verdi’s La Traviata, as well as Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2, will be played. On this occasion, Clément Bouvery on the piano, a young soloist from Blois, will be performing. “It is a show around the theme of writing and the piano with the participation of the center class of the conservatory who will read texts by George Sand,” says Patrice Pinero. A prelude will be offered at 4:15 pm for the presentation of the works by Christophe Brugière, a teacher of musical culture.
