Second Edition of the Regional Cinema Festival in Auxonne
The second edition of the Regional Cinema Festival in Auxonne was officially launched on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 7:30 pm at the L’Empire complex.
Conceived as a true celebration of regional cinema, the event, supported by the municipality with the Department’s backing, highlights local audiovisual creation and those who bring the territory to life through images. For the final day of the festival, many events are planned:
From 10:30 am, several activities will be offered simultaneously: an artisan market, a street music parade by Les Zic’aux, a reenactment of a resistance camp, and a rehearsal of a show in the presence of the Dijon Philharmonic Society.
The workshop “Everyone at the Cinema” will be hosted by Translation and Multimedia Accessibility students from the Bourgogne Europe University. The morning will continue with a concert by the band La Cabane sur le Chien at 11:30 am, followed by Violet Rock Tribu at 1 pm.
Regarding the film screenings, the movie “Les Enfants de la Résistance” will be shown at 2:30 pm. At 4:30 pm, a memories cafe will be offered around the film “La Veuve Couderc” before its screening at 5:30 pm.
In the complex’s lobby, the Photo-Club of the Val de Saône presents an exhibition of photographs taken at filming locations.
Access to the activities is free, while cinema sessions are available for a flat rate of 7 euros.
