Since 2011, the Clando cabaret has been opening its doors twice a year on Porte-de-France street in Morhange, welcoming singers and musicians of all kinds.
Over the years, the walls of Lili and Jean-Luc have also served as supports for several local artists.
This time, Clando is moving to Bailli’s house to allow its creator, Jean-Luc Cherry, to welcome his artist friends from the “L’Atelier des rêves clandestins” association, of which he is a part. “We’re not changing anything, except the space! The tables, chairs, sharing, and conviviality will still be there, with good music, on April 25th from 7:20 pm,” reassures the artist.
The entire family is in action with the complicit help of Natacha Zils. Not only will the spectators enjoy the talent of the guest of honor, Philippe Jund, but also an original exhibition of artworks from the workshop. Philippe Jund, a renowned guitarist, had already come to Clando in 2018, where he had recorded one of his albums live. This time, he will unveil “his guitar life.”
An eclectic exhibition
In the first part, “L’Atelier des rêves clandestins” offers an original performance with tales and beautiful words from Éric Zed, Ana Chronique, and Florian de Col. Some surprises are on the program, with Zed and his flute, and some regulars are ready to sing or play the guitar.
The audience will also be able to wander through the house’s walls, which will offer an eclectic exhibition of local artists, including some ceramic dreamers from AnneCat, the talents of Anna D, plasticonteuse, the sculptures of Paul Schnebelen, the photographs of Daniel Manzi, and the artworks and paintings of Jobnojob and Natacha Zils.
It will also be an opportunity to discover their fanzine and the book fridge that will soon be installed in the municipality.
Free entry, starting at 7:20 pm on Saturday, April 25th, at the Maison du Bailli in Morhange.
