From castle courtyard to church, from chapel to abbey, the Saint-Céré Festival settles in the heart of the most beautiful heritage sites in the Dordogne Valley from July 26th to August 7th, 2026 where each concert, each show becomes a unique experience.

As the only festival in Occitania to offer an open-air opera, the Saint-Céré Festival transforms the jewels of the Lot heritage into exceptional stages. Like every year, it is the majestic castle of Castelnau-Bretenoux that will offer an immersive setting for Ludwig van Beethoven’s opera Fidelio, in a new creation by the Imperial Theatre – Operas of Compiègne. In Saint-Céré, the Sainte-Spérie church, with its Romanesque origins, and the Récolltes church, with its astonishing brightly colored painted ceiling and baroque altarpiece, will both host original musical programs. In the first, the young baroque ensemble Theodora will celebrate the creativity of European composers settled in London in the 17th and 18th centuries with their program Expats, tea time & country dances on August 6th. In the second, Manon Galy and Léa Hennino will form a close-knit duo on August 4th, taking us on the European music roads of Lischka, Bach or Rossini.
