Washington – The Pentagon has started releasing more files related to UFOs and UAPs, as ordered by President Trump, to disclose government documents about unexplained phenomena. The 162 files include eyewitness testimony, photos, and reports from various government departments, dating back decades worldwide.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth emphasized the importance of transparency in revealing these classified files, while President Trump highlighted the need for complete openness. The release consists of 120 PDFs, 28 videos, and 14 image files capturing unidentified objects, including photos from NASA missions.
Some images show anomalies observed by astronauts during Apollo missions, with one photo depicting three ‘dots’ in a triangular formation. The Pentagon is conducting a new analysis on these images to determine their nature. The release also includes historical encounters like the Roswell incident and modern reports of strange phenomena in various locations globally.
The FBI’s case file, from 1947 to 1968, contains high-profile incidents and technical research on propulsion systems. The State Department’s cables detail UAP incidents reported by diplomats in several countries. Overall, the released documents highlight unresolved cases that invite private sector analysis.
Future releases are planned to be made periodically, following Mr. Trump’s directive to disclose information on UFOs and extraterrestrial life. Despite decades of tracking UAPs, there is currently no confirmed evidence of extraterrestrial existence from government investigations. The Pentagon has been gradually releasing images and reports through the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office since 2023.
