Kaukauna High School to host 2026 Breaking Boundaries Triathlon

Students from the Kaukauna, Kimberly and Little Chute school districts will once again participate in the annual Breaking Boundaries Triathlon. The event, sponsored by Kaukauna High School, will take place on Friday, May 15th, aiming to celebrate students of all abilities through movement, teamwork, and community support.

Participants will engage in swimming, biking, and running/walking activities with the support of peer mentors and staff members along the course. The triathlon will start at the Heart of the Valley YMCA and finish at the Bank of Kaukauna Stadium at Kaukauna High School.

The Breaking Boundaries Triathlon, which focuses on providing “Possibilities for All Abilities,” promotes healthy lifestyles and challenges students in a supportive environment. The event continues to grow each year, ensuring that every participant can experience success.

The event schedule for Friday, May 15, 2026, is as follows: – 9:05 a.m. – Kaukauna send-off at Kaukauna High School Commons – 9:30 a.m. – Departure for Heart of the Valley YMCA – 9:40 a.m. – Kaukauna students meet participating districts at the YMCA – 9:55 a.m. – National Anthem at the swim area – 10:00 a.m. – Swimming begins at the YMCA – 11:00 a.m. – Most students start the biking portion – 11:45 a.m. – Most students begin jogging/walking portion – 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. – Estimated race completion window – 1:00 p.m. – Closing group photo and certificate presentation

The safety and success of the participants are ensured through the guidance and encouragement of peer mentors and staff members throughout the course. The participation in the event is made possible thanks to the generous support and donations from the community, covering all costs for student-athletes and peer mentors.
