The Relai’Ve association, which manages La Maison de Rose, affirms its cultural ambitions, with three magnificent events in June.
If the Relai’Ve association in Moissac is particularly identified by its solidarity restaurant La Maison de Rose which offers support towards social integration and employment for a vulnerable public, it is also the place of social and friendly connection for all these members of the general public with, throughout the year, numerous activities and workshops around living together, health and culture. The month of June promises to be a busy one at 1 bis, rue François-Raynal in Moissac, where the association resides in the premises of the Sisters of Mercy, around a magnificent garden. Three flagship events are thus programmed, around graphic arts, music and literature. From Thursday 18 from 6 p.m., a musical reading will be offered around the poetic work of François Cheng “The tree in us spoke”, taken from “Double chant”, published in 2002. This artistic moment will draw its life from the words of Claude-Juliette Févre to the notes of Sylvie’s cello Ena, and will be illustrated by the pictorial works of Suzy Ena.
Literature and graphics performance
The following week, on Thursday 25 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., there will be a new astonishing meeting in partnership with the floating bookstore L’Ancrier, between literature and graphic performance. The author Alba Le Brun will read some extracts from her surprising work “Le Corps de ma langue”, a successful hybridization between novel and poetry, while the designer Nathalie Frantz will lead a drawing workshop with a live model. Registration for this workshop is strongly recommended at L’Ancrier (06 22 45 30 19), and participation for each of these evenings is set at 5 euros (and €1 membership to the Relai’Ve association).
But between these two dates, the Music Festival is looming, Sunday 21, and the Maison de Rose will not be left out with the presence, from 6 p.m., of the excellent Moissagais vocal workshop of Ödacieux, who, with their choir director and host Mathilde Limal, will take us on a journey through the ages and continents (free entry). With this first triptych, the Relai’Ve association wants to be a lasting part of the cultural life of the city, while affirming the link with its integration activity. Indeed, for each of these events, the employees of the solidarity restaurant will offer some dishes of their composition in the form of buffets inviting conviviality and sharing.
