Decisions which reflect the community’s desire to respond to the concrete needs of residents while supporting the region’s transitions.

Renewed support for the agricultural world

Agriculture remains one of the priority sectors for the Department. The elected officials thus validated a framework agreement with the Vosges Chamber of Agricultureaccompanied by a financial participation of 62,000 euros.

This agreement aims to support agricultural operations in the face of economic, environmental and climatic challenges. In particular, it should make it possible to strengthen local sectors, encourage transition approaches and preserve natural resources, with particular attention paid to water management.

The Department also intends to continue promoting local production through the “Je Vois la Vie en Vosges Terroir” brand, which has become a tool for promoting Vosges know-how.

Investments for economic activity

In the economic field, two investment projects will benefit from departmental support for a total amount of 60,000 euros. Among them is the creation of a new bakery in Chantrainea project which will contribute to strengthening the local offer and local commercial activity.

Through this aid, the Department confirms its desire to support businesses and job-creating initiatives in the region.

More than 280,000 euros for culture

Culture remains a strong focus of departmental action. An envelope of 281,200 euros was allocated to support creation in live performance.

Local companies, artist residencies, cultural seasons and dissemination projects will benefit from this financial support. The stated objective is to maintain a diversified cultural offering throughout the Vosges region and to promote access to culture for all audiences, including in the most rural sectors.

A significant effort in favor of sport

Sport also receives significant support. Nearly 300 associations requested assistance to renew or acquire sports equipment.

In total, 360,973 euros will be mobilized to support this equipment. Particular attention was paid to structures developing disabled sports practices, in order to promote inclusion and access to sport for all.

Aid to combat energy poverty
