On nearly 800 m² at the Neudorf market hall, Thursday May 14, exhibitors from all over the region offered an impressive journey through generations and universes: video games, figurines, comic books, retro consoles, video games. company, Lego® Animal Crossing or Sonic cult anime goodies or even steampunk objects. A diversity that appealed to young and old, with friends or family. Because here, passion is passed down from generation to generation… like Pokémon which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and continues to bring together collectors of all ages.
Collectible cards were among the stars of the event. Pokémon , Yu-Gi-Oh ! , Lorca , Magic : some visitors came with their binders to participate in the exchange organized on site and try to complete their collection. While some cards sold for a few cents, others reached impressive sums: up to 780 euros for a collector’s card. One Piece  !

Throughout the stands, visitors could also discover board games in special editions, handcrafted soft toys, collectible figurines or even objects inspired by cult licenses such as Star Wars , Super Mario , The Simpsons or Indiana Jones. Retrogaming enthusiasts were not left out either: between Game Boy, old Amstrad consoles and vintage video games, many visitors took a trip back to their childhood memories. “It doesn’t make us any younger, it really was the good old days,” a mother recalls to her children in front of a console dating from the 1980s. Much more than a simple flea market, Broc’Land Geek has once again confirmed that geek culture has become a real intergenerational phenomenon, and which reminds us that “everything increases in value with age, even ourselves”, smiles a saleswoman.
