The opening of the exhibition, organized on Tuesday May 12 at the Jean-Ferrat cultural center, highlighted the shadow work of this artist-photographer. Many of his photos were taken in Avignon, the city where Damien Fontaine drew his inspiration.

More than 500 photos were revealed to the general public on Tuesday, May 12, in Sauveterre, during the opening. A special moment for this photographer, originally from Pujaut. His meeting with Élodie Vernes, in charge of administration and communications at the Jean-Ferrat cultural center, led him to reveal his photographs, full of meaning. The starting point? “It came naturally when my daughter was born. I started documenting his life. She is 12 years old now. (The photo) is something we share together.”he mentions.

“Show that beauty was visible everywhere”
