The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has received information regarding certain suspicions related to scientific integrity assurance in the framework of the National Scientific and Technological Research Contest for secondary school students (middle and high school) during the 2025-2026 school year.
This is an open contest; therefore, post-contest examination and verification are one of the important tasks of the organizing committee to ensure objectivity, transparency, and compliance with regulations.
Currently, the Ministry of Education and Training has requested relevant units to coordinate with the contest organizing committee, the jury, and the organizations and individuals involved to investigate, verify, and clarify the reported issues.
Based on the examination and verification results, if violations are detected, the Ministry of Education and Training and the contest organizing committee will examine and handle them strictly in accordance with the provisions of Circular No. 24/2025/TT-BGDĐT amending and supplementing a number of articles of the regulations of the National Scientific and Technological Research Contest for secondary school students, as well as other relevant legal regulations, ensuring the principles of objectivity, fairness, transparency, and seriousness.
The Ministry of Education and Training will continue to provide regular updates to the press as soon as an official conclusion is reached.
