- Ukraine launched its largest drone attack against Moscow in at least two years on Thursday morning.
- “If Ukraine burns, your Moscow will burn too,” Volodymyr Zelensky then said.
- “It is time to end this war,” he continued.
Moscow was struck by kyiv on the morning of Thursday June 18 in what appears to be the largest drone attack against the Russian capital in at least two years. It led to fires in the region, disrupting its main airports, according to the authorities. Several projectiles also hit a major refinery.
President Volodymyr Zelensky then reacted in an audio message released to the press. “We don’t want this war and we never wanted it, everyone knows that. We certainly don’t want Ukraine to go up in flames because of the enemy. But if Ukraine burns, your Moscow will burn too.”
