“We are embarking on the fourth season and therefore our fourth Music Festival. Each year the event has grown. The public is growing in number and the atmosphere is ever more beautiful,” rejoices Laurent Lauga.
For this 2026 edition, no less than six groups and several musical events will follow one another until the end of the night.
The public will thus be able to discover Philippe Gorichon, whose influences draw on world music, Sweetrium with his pop folk repertoire, Ben Circus and his festive universe, the Compagnie Pierre Dorenlot which navigates between pop, rock and blues, Skinny Cat for lovers of energetic rock, as well as Vince DC family, a reggae group recognized in the region.
Pros and amateurs
Between concerts, The Hug will set the mood with its vinyl mixes while saxophone performances will punctuate the evening. After midnight, the stage will remain open to the musicians present for improvised “beefs”, a moment particularly appreciated during previous editions.
“The idea is that everyone can share their passion. The musicians like to get together and the public loves to witness these spontaneous moments,” underlines the organizer.
The majority of invited artists come from Médoc and more broadly from Gironde. “We have many recognized professionals but also some very high level amateurs. It is this diversity that makes the evening so rich.”
Last year, several hundred people gathered around the Caravelle. A success that Laurent Lauga hopes to repeat. “What I like most is the mix of generations. Everyone dances together. We saw smiles everywhere. Some even told me that they had the best music festival of their lives here.”
Faithful to the spirit of the place, Laurent Lauga is also keen to offer catering accessible to all. Like last year, a rougail will be served at the single price of 10 euros per plate. No reservation system is planned. Everyone will be able to sit freely and enjoy the evening at their own pace.
“I want this festival to remain popular and open to all. Families should be able to have a great evening without having to spend a fortune. Conviviality and sharing are the key words of the Caravelle. »
