Large screens light up outdoor evenings in Milan’s most beautiful squares, cloisters and gardens.

The Chiostro dell’Incoronata (cloister located near the Anteo Palazzo del Cinema) is the historic heart of the festival, with two parallel rooms and a double program each evening. The inner courtyard of the Palazzo Reale (piazza del Duomo 12) offers the most spectacular setting in the city, with projections from 9:45 p.m. La Fabbrica del Vapore (via GC Procaccini 4) is the most “industrial-chic” space, while CityLife (via Zaha Hadid) represents the most modern place, nestled in the heart of the district designed by three great architects.

Added to this is “Anteo nella Città”, the itinerant project thanks to a mobile van, equipped with 200 seats, a 2K projector – like those in real cinemas – and a 10-inch screen meters, with a headset audio system. The van stops at a different location every week: between June and July, it will pass by the Cooperativa Labriola (June 23-28) where The Mage of the Cremlin, the latest film by Olivier Assayas, will be screened, Casa Emergency (June 29-July 7), Piazza Mercanti (July 8-19), Villa Litta (July 20-26) and Martesana Amphitheater (July 27-August 2).
