DECRYPTION – The American president swears that his text is “the exact opposite” of the JPOA, which led to the JCPOA in 2015. A comparative analysis, however, shows that Washington has agreed to an “impressive relaxation” with regard to the Iranian regime.

Donald Trump has always had a grudge against the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action), the Vienna agreement on Iranian nuclear power which was signed in July 2015 by the Obama administration. He even tore it up in May 2018, during his first term, denouncing “a clear path towards nuclear weapons”. Last week, in his usual style on the Truth Social network, the American president swore that «[s]we agree with Iran,”symbolically signed in Versailles on Wednesday evening and supposed to put an end to more than three months of war in the Middle East, “is exactly the opposite: A WALL AGAINST NUCLEAR WEAPONS!” What about it?
