Last Saturday, in the La Forge library, the annual general meeting of the association “La Forge au fil du temps” was held in the presence of around thirty people.
It was Donatien Rousseau, in his capacity as vice-president, who made the moral activity report for the year 2025.
The association has 99 members and volunteers who, every first weekend of the month, work to carry out work and develop this place steeped in history. In 2025, from April to October, numerous events took place: exhibitions, artist residencies, garage sales, plant swaps, theater, concerts, conferences… Both inside the building and in the park.
For 2026, renovation work is currently continuing in the rooms, cultural activities are continuing, including next weekend “Teas in the winter garden” with Andalusian music and public readings and a large garage sale in the park is planned for July 26.
The accounts were then unanimously approved. A new office was elected with Virginie Destrel as president, Donnatien Rousseau, vice-president, Frédéric Barry, secretary, and Catherine Toutain remains treasurer.
The diverse and varied cultural actions will continue in this magnificent place; after warm thanks to the active and generous volunteers, the glass of friendship allowed the exchanges to continue.
