In addition to the films which are successfully continuing their “career” at Véo Grand Central, and the 6 new titles presented yesterday in our columns, 4 exceptional screenings are also included in the program

Wednesday June 17 at 3:30 p.m., suitable for children from 3 years old, we will note the movie snack session with the preview screening of the program of 6 animated short films “Between Heaven and Earth” (33 min). This screening, followed by a snack and entertainment, shows “varied and endearing worlds” and characters “with croquignolette expressions”. As always, this session benefits from the reduced rate for all: €5.

Thursday June 18 at 2 p.m., a Unipop Screening will screen “M le Maudit” (in Vost), the essential thriller by Fritz Lang, with Peter Lorre and Otto Wernicke. At 4 p.m., Stéphane Goudet, lecturer in cinema at the University of Paris 1 Sorbonne, critic for the magazine Positif, will offer his analysis of the film

Friday 19, the monthly “cult cinema” evening will offer an exceptional event, dedicated to “Dune”, a legendary work of science fiction which has marked generations and inspired numerous directors. This event will begin at 6 p.m. 30, on the equally legendary documentary “Jodorovsky Dune” (Vost), directed by Frank Pavich, at 8:15 p.m., Véo will offer a “pizza-drink break”, before returning to the theater (reservations recommended at the cinema reception or on the Véo website).

Adapted from the famous novel by Frank Herbert, and offered for the very first time in 4K, “Dune”, by David Lynch (1984), brings together Kyle MacLachlan, Sting and Francesca Annis in the cast. A presentation in the room, and a quiz on the world of Dune, will allow you to win prizes. Price for 1 film: €6.50 (- 25 years old, €5)

Finally, on Saturday June 20, we must not forget the big sale of film posters… What a week!
